"The Barred Owl", also know as Northern Barred Owl, or more informally
as the Hoot Owl, is a large species of owl. A member of the true owl family,
Strigidae, they belong to the genus Strix, which is also the origin of the
family's name under Linnaean taxonomy.
The Llama
"Lisa"
The Llama is a domesticated South American camelid, widely used as a
meat and pack animal by Andrean cultures since pre-Columbian era. Llamas
are very social animals and live with others as a herd. Their wool is
very soft and lanolin-free. Llamas can learn simple tasks after a few
repetitions.
The North American Moose
"Mortimer"
The moose, or elk, is a member of the New World deer subfamily and is
the largest and heaviest extant species in the deer family. Most adult
male moose have distinctive broad, palmate antlers; most other embers of
the deer family have antlers with a dendritic configuration.
